TONIGHT: Special briefing on Talus hillside

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in City Hall South, 135 E. Sunset Way.

Tonight, Nov. 24, the Issaquah City Council will host a special meeting in order to be briefed on the status of the hillside at Parcel 9 in Talus on Cougar Mountain.

The parcel, currently under construction by Triad Associates in order to build 90 homes in 2016, was the site of earth movement that caused the adjacent road to buckle on Nov. 13. Work has since stopped other than to survey the safety of the site.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in City Hall South, 135 E. Sunset Way.
