September 2

WHAT A MESS: A woman in the 800 block of 5th Place NE called police at 9:48 a.m. crying hysterically. She said that her house was a mess, and her boyfriend, who is manipulative, does not clean. Police asked what they could help her out with. She said to just make sure that her vehicle was parked outside.

HORROR MOVIE IN THE WOODS: Multiple people reported a man screaming in the woods near the 900 block of Black Bear Ridge Court NW at 7:16 p.m. The screamer was a subject known to police. When police arrived, the known subject was no longer at the scene.

September 3

ODD DELIVERY: At 1:32 a.m., police were sent to the 400 block of Front St. N., where two males had reportedly put a traffic cone in a mailbox as a joke. Police met up with the reporting party and did indeed find an orange cone in the mailbox. Police removed the cone and placed it by the street.

PUNCH-AND-RUN: Police contacted a heavily intoxicated man and woman at 6:29 p.m. in the 200 block of First Place NW. The man had a bleeding chin and claimed that three men struck him outside of the Rolling Log Tavern on East Sunset Way. The man could not describe his attackers and refused EMS treatment.

PUNCH-AND-RUN, PART TWO: At 7:45 p.m., police contacted the man and woman from the previous call, who were by now in the 5000 block of NW Village Park Drive. The woman said that the man had caused a disturbance because he was outraged that she wouldn’t leave the Rolling Log fight alone. While police were speaking with the woman, the man walked back.

September 4

WINDOW PAINS: A woman in the 800 block of Fifth Place NE told police at 1:27 a.m. that her ex-boyfriend was beating at her window. Police went to the residence and found neither current nor ex-boyfriends. The woman had already called police out that evening once before over a burglary that police found no sign of.

September 5

FAREWELL MESSAGE: Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Fourth Ave. NW at 3:17 p.m., where a man was spray-painting his own property. The man said that he was doing this because he was mad that he was moving away and was also upset with a neighbor.

September 6

RETURN OF THE PACKAGE BANDIT: A family from the 200 block of Mountain Park Blvd. SW went on vacation for the Labor Day weekend, and returned home at 11:07 a.m. to find that a package from Amazon had been stolen from the front porch. This may be part of the recent rash of doorstep package thefts that have been occurring in Issaquah, Bellevue and Redmond.

UNWANTED ADULT PHONE ENTERTAINMENT: A woman from the 1500 block of 25th Ave. NE called at 4:30 p.m. to report that she has received two calls from someone who was breathing heavily and saying inappropriate things. She had no idea who the caller was and said that she had no idea of finding out where the calls were coming from.

September 7

MIDDAY IS SPEEDING TIME: Between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., police wrote 19 speeding tickets in the 2300 block of Black Nugget Rd. This speed enforcement was done upon request of command staff.

SLEEPING EX SIGHTING: A woman in the 900 block of NE Park Drive called at 2:38 p.m. to report that her ex-boyfriend was sleeping in her vehicle. She said that she did not want him there and asked police to tell him to leave. Police got the sleepy ex to move along, and advised the woman on how to obtain a court order.

September 9

BIRTHDAY PARTY IN A CAR: Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at 3:49 a.m. in the 600 block of Front St. S. and found a silver vehicle with its lights on. The registered owner was sleeping inside the vehicle. He stated that he was alright and he was visiting his brother to celebrate his birthday.
