Halloween zombies of all ages will congregate in Issaquah on Oct. 26 for the fourth annual Downtown Zombie Walk and flash-mob dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

Participants should meet at the historic Shell Station from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for make-up and other preparations and to practice the Thriller Dance moves with Miki Halvorson of Blue Dog Dance Studio.

The official Zombie Walk starts at 4:30 when the zombies devote 30 minutes to attracting the attention of motorists, diners and passers-by on Front Street. At 5 p.m. the choreographed flash-mob dancers take over the corner of Sunset and Front Street.

The event is free, open to all ages and zombies of all skill levels. After the dance, several pubs are offering zombie drink specials.

Issaquah Highlands residents are also doing a Thriller flash-mob as part of their Green Halloween festivities from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 26. The event is sponsored by Blue Dog Dance, Issaquah Brewery and Vinyl Radio.
