Crusaders shutout Roughriders

The Eastside Catholic Crusaders scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning en route to a 5-0 win against the Roosevelt Roughriders in the first round of the Class 3A Metro baseball tournament on May 9 in Sammamish. Crusaders’ ace Billy Dimlow went the distance on the mound, surrendering just four hits in seven innings of work. He struck out nine Roosevelt batters. Taylor Wright went 2-for-3 at the plate for the Crusaders.

Eagles dominate Vikings in KingCo tourney opener

The Issaquah Eagles scored four runs in the first inning and never looked back against the Inglemoor Vikings in the first round of the Class 4A KingCo baseball tournament in Woodinville. Issaquah shortstop Kyle Rodriguez went 4-for-4 with 2 RBI  and Tyler Kim went 2-for-3 as the Eagles rolled to a 10-1 win against the Vikings on May 9 in Woodinville. Issaquah pitcher Tyler Huling pitched a complete game, allowing just four hits in seven innings on the hill.

Cougars defeat Spartans in tournament opener

The Bothell Cougars defeated the Skyline Spartans 4-3 in a nine-inning thriller in the first round of the Class 4A KingCo tournament on May 9 in Woodinville.

Knights overpower Wolves

The Newport Knights cruised to an 8-0 win against the Eastlake Wolves in the first round of the Class 4A KingCo tournament on May 9 in Woodinville. Newport scored six runs in the fifth inning to put the game away.

Mustangs eliminate Eagles in loser-out contest

The Redmond Mustangs defeated the Issaquah Eagles 2-1 in a loser-out KingCo playoff game on May 7 at Issaquah High School in Issaquah. The Eagles finished the 2015 season with an overall record of 7-6.

The Issaquah Eagles girls lacrosse team registered a 21-1 win against the Stadium Tigers in the first round of the Washington Lacrosse Association state tournament on May 8 at Skyline Community Fields in Sammamish.

Lake Sammamish cruise to win against Evergreen

The Lake Samammish Eagles rolled to a 17-7 win against Evergreen in the first round of the Washington Lacrosse Association state tournament on May 9 at McKenzie Stadium in Vancouver.
