The Wolves were led by Li Wang and RP McCoy, who tied for first with even par, 36s. Eastlake’s Spencer Weiss shot a 2 over par, 38 to finish in third and help the Wolves to an over 194 strokes. Jack Quinton was fourth overall with a three over par, 39.

Issaquah swims away from Bothell

Issaquah won six events Thursday to defeat Bothell 115-65 at Boehm Pool.

Three Eagles earned district-qualifying times. Stacy Maier won the 200 freestyle in a time of 2 minutes, 3.47 seconds; Kayla Flaten won the 100 butterfly in 1:02.14 and Marit Borth won the 100 freestyle in 50.50.

Issaquah’s Sarah Mirahsani also won the 500 freestyle in a time of 6:33.86.

The 200 medley relay of Maier, Flaten, Borth and Kelly Herman won in 1:57.77 and the same group of swimmers won the 200 free relay in 1:46.67.

Issaquah blanks Roosevelt

An Audrey Thomas goal in the 48th minute was all Issaquah needed Thursday night, as the Eagles defeated Roosevelt 1-0. Rachel Wheeler had an assist on the play, while goalkeeper Brooke Miller recorded the shutout.

Issaquah improved to 2-0 in league and 6-1 with the victory.

Eastlake overcomes three-goal deficit

Eastlake overcame a huge obstacle Thursday night, scoring four second-half goals to beat rival Redmond, 4-3.

The Mustangs built a 3-0 halftime cushion after goals in the 18th, 25th and 39th minutes.

The Wolves started chipping away immediately in the second half with a goal from Jaclyn Softli in the 42nd minute. Emily Cushing’s goal in the 52nd minute and Julia Bennett’s goal in the 57th minute tied the score. Softli then knocked in the go-ahead goal in the 59th minute on an assist from Rebecca Priestley.

Eastlake improved to 2-0 in league and 4-4 overall.
