The talent is there, but so are question marks for the Eastlake soccer team.

The talent is there, but so are question marks for the Eastlake soccer team.

The Wolves return just two starters from last year’s group — a team that graduated 11 seniors.

Senior midfielder Luis Lopez and senior forward Renato Bandeira are the two players who return from last year’s team, which finished 6-5-2 in league and 6-7-3 overall. Bandeira already has four goals for Eastlake this season.

The Wolves have two players sharing time in the goal in juniors Devon DeAlteris and Zack Wile.

Senior midfielder Thomas Cools and junior midfielder Sean Klauer have produced early this season in the middle of the field, recording a goal and an assist apiece.

Eastlake also returns junior forward Gerard Galvin to the front line, while junior defenders Sawyer Preston and Evan Yamada bring experience to the back line.

The Wolves are currently 2-1-2 overall and 1-1-1 in league play. They faced non-league Union Thursday in Vancouver and host Redmond at 7:30 p.m., April 6.
