Eastlake, Skyline represented in All-State football game

The Wolves and Spartans had a player in the All-State football game in Moses Lake

Sammamish was well represented at the recent Washington State Coaches Association All-State game in Moses Lake, where players from schools across the state competed one final time on the prep gridiron.

Eastlake’s Brandon Kaufman, the co-Lineman of the Year as a senior, was a member of the West squad, along with Skyline’s Cole Blackburn, an All-KingCo selection for the Spartans in 2013.

Kaufman was a major figure in the trenches for the Wolves, which reached the state tournament in head coach Don Bartel’s first season at the helm.

Skyline’s Josh Wright was also elected to the West roster, but did not participate.
