Almen Thorpe (140 pounds) picked up the Eagles’ lone pin of the evening, taking down Austin Moser in 38 seconds.

David White (145) earned a 9-2 decision, Joseph Tonnemaker (152) won with a 5-0 decision and Daniel Fine (189) earned a 5-2 decision. Three forfeits and a double forfeit gave Issaquah 21 points and locked up the victory.

Eastlake edged by Inglemoor

Eastlake fell victim to not having enough wrestlers Thursday night, falling 48-30 to Inglemoor.

The Vikings earned four victories via forfeit — three of those coming at the highest weights, 189, 215 and 285 pounds.

The Wolves who competed had impressive performances.

Adam Nakanishi (125), Max Benjamin (130) and Zach Leavitt (152) all pinned their opponents, while Nyk Peterson (140) and Eric Harper (171) picked up victories via decision.

Skyline rolls over Roosevelt

Skyline’s league-leading defense rose to the occasion again Thursday, earning a 55-32 win over Roosevelt.

The Spartans, who have held opponents to just under an average of 45 points per game, only allowed double-digit points in one quarter.

Senior Kasen Williams led Skyline with a game-high 16 points, while Lucas Shannon scored 13. Bryan Cikatz and Max Browned added seven apiece.

The Spartans improved to 5-1 in league and 8-3 overall. Skyline travels down the hill to face Eastlake (1-5, 4-7) at 8 p.m., tonight.
