Rain City Water Polo holding registration

The spring 2012 session of Rain City Water Polo begins on Monday, Feb. 27 and registration is now open for youths age 8-14.

Practices are at Mary Wayte Pool on Mercer Island and athletes have the option of attending either two or four practice sessions weekly. Games are held at Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club and the team will also travel to two tournaments during the course of the year.

Evergreen State Judo Championships coming to Sammamish

Eastlake High School will be the new host of this year’s EVergreen State Judo Championships, which take place on Saturday, Mar. 31 at 10 a.m.

The entry fee is $35 and competitors must show proof of current membership with the USJF, USA Judo, USJA, Judo BC or Judo Canada. Awards will be given to first, second and third place finishers in youth and adult division for both men and women.
