Matt Lunde and Matt Sinatro helped the Spartans past the defending 4A state champions from Bothell.

Fastpitch

Winter Ridgeway struck out eight but took the loss for the Spartans, which committed 11 errors.

Charlotte Zhao had a pair of base hits and Tia Hedman finished with one RBI for Skyline in the loss.

Baseball

Skyline 6 Bothell 4

Matt Sinatro had three base hits including two doubles and knocked in three runs to lead Skyline to the win.

Conner Reinersten, Jack Valencia, Jim Sinatro and Brandon Fischer also had base hits for the Spartans in the win.

Matt Lunde got the decision on the mound going seven innings and allowing only one earned run with 11 strikeouts.

Woodinville 3 Issaquah 1

Ethan Kalin allowed only a pair of earned runs and struck out five but it wasn’t nearly enough as the Falcons got a complete game no-hitter from starting pitcher Marty Luckenbach.

Boys lacrosse

Eastlake 8 Sammamish 6

Josiah Fonte scored four goals as Eastlake topped Sammamish. Avery Harkins had 10 saves in the win.

Girls tennis

Skyline 6 Eastlake 1

Skyline swept the singles matches behind Theresa Huang, Ali O’Daffer, Laura Parsons and Jasmine Ye while the doubles pairs of Alyson Opitz and Rachel Bear and Sonya Ye and Jinny Choi picked up wins.
