The Bellingham Bells, a summer, wood bat collegiate baseball team that plays in the West Coast League, have signed Sammamish native and Skyline graduate Ryan Somers for next season.

Somers joined the Bells in-season last year and appeared in 10 games with 25 at-bats. He hit .280 with one double and two RBI.

Also a player with Seattle University, Somers appeared in 40 games, including 27 starts for the Redhawks during his redshirt sophomore year.
