April 17

SLEEPY DRIVER: At 1:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of Sahalee Way, a driver fells asleep behind the wheel of a running vehicle while sitting at a security gate.

CHRISTMAS IS OVER: At 11:15 p.m. in the 2900 block of 275th Ave. NE, someone ripped down some decorative Christmas lights that were left on a tree in the front yard that the resident had not been able to remove yet. The resident has a security surveillance system. The vandal destroyed the lights and threw an extension cord on the porch.

CELL PHONE LARCENY: At 1:45 p.m. at 653 228th Ave. NE, police received a 911 call from an AT&T store. The caller reported that someone stole three cell phones from the store.

April 18

MONEY MISHANDLING: At 9:15 a.m. in the 25200 block of SE Klahanie Blvd., police responded to a civil problem, wherein the reported party wanted financial records from the condo’s homeowners association to prove they are handling money correctly.

NOT LEARNING TOOLS: At 10:15 p.m. at 3200 Issaquah Pine Lane, someone burglarized the Sunny Hills Elementary construction site over the weekend. The suspect/s made entry into the gated area and the new building by smashing down a fence. The perpetrator/s also forced open several construction boxes and stole a number of construction tools.

April 20

BACKACHE: At 6:16 p.m. at 2908 228th Ave. SE, someone stole the victim’s wallet from a chiropractic business, then went on a spending spree at several businesses.

April 21

STRANGER DANGER: At 9 a.m. in the 2500 block of SE Klahanie Blvd., a suspicious male approached a mother’s 8-year-old son and asked him questions on a park trail, ignoring the boy’s mother. Police noted similar instances of this occurred with other people in the area.

April 24

BAD COUNTRY SONG: At 2:30 p.m. at 1121 228th Ave. SE, the suspect stole a dog from a resident at Tent City 4. The dog owner said he saw the suspect with the dog near a roundabout.

April 25

ASSAULT: At 10:42 p.m. in the 200 block of 211 Place NE, a husband assaulted his wife by shoving her into a wall and causing injury. He also pulled her hair and attempted to strangle her.

April 28

PAY YOUR BILLS: At 4:34 p.m. in the 2100 block of 200th Ave. SE, a mother and daughter got into an argument over bills. The daughter threw items, including a water bottle, at her mother, which hit the mother’s arm.
