The following information was compiled from city of Issaquah and Sammamish police reports:

A father beat up his son, after he refused help studying AP biology in Issaquah Jan. 17.He told police his father wants him to succeed in his academics, but when the father tries to help, it usually hinders his studies.

This time the father got up in the son’s face, and threatened to hit him if he wasn’t allowed to help with the homework. The son challenged him to try, and the father slapped and hit him 10 times on his head and face. The son fought back.

The father stopped when the mother called police. He grabbed for the phone and turned it off, but police had already been called.When police arrived, the boy had a red eye and dried blood on his lip and hand. The father was arrested for domestic violence and interfering with a report.

Road Rage

After a woman cut a man off on the Issaquah Plateau, he followed her to her work to yell at her.When she got in front of the guy, he began flashing his high beams, then pulled up to her, rolled down his window and swore at her Jan. 22.

At her work she got out of her car, he pulled up in his car yelled at her some more and then threatened her with a gesture of pointing his finger and moving it across his throat.She described the white male as being in his mid-60s and driving a new red pickup truck.

Snow donuts

Police gave a warning to a worker at a box store on East Lake Sammamish Boulevard, after he decided to do donuts in the ice outside his work Jan. 16.
