A compilation of incidents from Issaquah Police Reports

The following information was compiled by City of Issaquah police reports:

Wearing only a T-shirt and boxers, a man called police from a pay phone from the 100 block of East Sunset Way May 20. He reportedly didn’t know where he was or how he got there. Police gave him a ride back to Motel 6 where his roommate was staying.

Police found a camp of six tents surrounded by miscellaneous garbage on the 6200 block of EastLake Sammamish Parkway Southeast May 22, after a caller saw someone walking into the bushes. Nobody was at the camp, but a tent nearby was occupied.

A thief kicked in a front door and made off with a jar of coins, a $5,000 loss on the 100 block of West Sunset Way May 23.

Two teen boys were arrested for displaying a weapon on the 700 block of Second Avenue Southeast May 23.

There was a report of a mattress in the roadway May 19 at Northwest Village Park Drive and Southeast Newport Way.

Someone cashed two fraudulent checks, a total loss of $34,000 on the 23400 block of Southeast Black Nugget Road May 23.

Someone called police after finding their stolen Yamaha boat motor on Craig’s List May 23. The caller said the motor was in Tacoma.

Police contacted a man walking four small dogs off leash after someone called to complain on the 700 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard May 21.

There was a report of prescription fraud on the 1400 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard May 24.

A homeowner called police after finding someone sleeping in a car on his or her property May 24 on the 100 block of Gilman Boulevard.

A man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphenalia on the 1000 block of 17th Avenue Northwest May 24.

There was a report of a sex offender contacting minors for immoral purposes at about 9 a.m. May 19, on the 300 block of Rainier Boulevard South.

A 40-year old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault on the 700 block of Second Avenue Northwest May 23.

A 29-year old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault on the 5300 block of 236th Place Southeast May 23.

Police advised 5 people they weren’t allowed to panhandle at State Route 900 and Interstate 90 May 19.
