Rotary wine tasting to help raise money for scholarships

The Issaquah Rotary is planning a beer and wine tasting to raise money for youth scholarships March 5.

The Issaquah Rotary is planning a beer and wine tasting to raise money for youth scholarships March 5.

In addition to tasting wine from four different local wineries, the fifth annual Grape Escape plans to offer tastings of five handcrafted beers from the Snoqualmie Brewery.

Registration is $25 until Feb. 27, then $30 at the door.

The social event will also include appetizers from Zeke’s Pizza, Outback Steakhouse and the Bonefish Grill.

Guests will have the opportunity to buy beer and wine tax free and to participate in a special silent auction.

All of the proceeds will go to help fund Rotary scholarships for Issaquah, Liberty and Tiger Mountain high schools.
