Our elementary schools have long known the power of science to inspire and energize young minds. Sunny Hills Elementary school held its annual science fair on Thursday night, with students proudly demonstrating the displays and devices they have been working for the last few months – and there were plenty of things that whirr, buzz, confound and amaze.

Thanks to Sunny Hills parents Faye Curnow for these great pics of the students getting their science on!

A number of schools in the Issaquah and Lake Washington School districts are holding their science fairs. Got some great photos of your excellent experiments? Send them to The Reporter – editor@issaquah-reporter.com
